We’d like to take the time to respond to this great article on AgingCare.com (see link below). The services provided by the staff at Private Home Care, Inc. can cover all your non-medical needs.

  •       All of our staff are covered by professional liability insurance, worker’s compensation insurance, and theft/dishonesty bond.

  •       We provide coverage 24 hours per day, so you will never have to schedule your care around us. We schedule your care based on your specific needs, no matter what time of day.

  •       Our clients never have a caregiver they have not met show up at their door. All caregivers are introduced to each client before their first day of care, and are trained to provide customized care specific to each client.

  •      Our clients always have coverage. Our schedulers will send a caregiver you are familiar with, in the event of a call out. Our policy is to leave no shift uncovered.

  •      Our caregivers are trained to meet the needs of Alzheimer and Dementia clients.
  •         Private Home Care bases your hourly rate on the type of care you require. For example: If you simply need companionship, or help with light housekeeping, you will be charged a lower rate than, say, someone who is not ambulatory.

  •      Private Home Care, Inc. does background checks on all employees.

  •      Although we do not accept Medicare or Medicaid, we will help you understand your policy, and bill your private Long Term Care Insurance.

  •            If a client is ever unsatisfied with a caregiver, we can make a change. We strive to match our clients with a compatible caregiver, so you can enjoy your time with our staff.

  •       Although Private Home Care, Inc. does not provide medical care, we can do medication reminders, wound care, assist with all activities of daily living (ADL), and we have certified Hospice Care providers on staff.

  •       When a client hires an independent caregiver, they may not be covered under insurances, they may not be able to provide backup coverage, and the client is responsible for scheduling and doing background checks. All of these things are included in your hourly rate at Private Home Care, Inc.
